Vilayaya Central Collage's IT club have a good place in IT socities in Polonnaruwa District. Currents over than 60 students are studing ICT and GIT subjects from the school for Odinary Level. More than 20 students are learning ICT as a main subjects of their Advance Level studing. Head of the IT section teacher Mr.Upul Rathnayake is handling manful dedicationly all of IT Units.

There are four apartments on our IT Club named as Software team, Hardware team, Network team and Web Designing team. Four A/L IT students are leading to this units. There are 15 members including per one unit. Therefor VCC IT Club had strong 45 masters to the team. School need there servise in every special moment. Every member of the team give there knowledge to the other members of the IT Club.
Vilayaya school is full armoured from requirements for learning O/L and A/L IT. Therefore students can study the syllubus fully and clearly. Thats the reason for born strong student from the Vilayaya Central Collage.
IT Club members are allways participate to the all of tournements helding by government, Education Department and private companies. Such as Software competitions, Presentation Competitions etc. They are perfome highly and doing there maximum for the competition and give a good challange to other competitors. They have won many places and awards from that competitions. Head Institue of IT Mr.Upul Wijekumara always give advises for them to go their rising
